With cold weather comes ice, and lots of it for many. Sooner than we know, we will be in the driveway trying to scrape layers of ice off of our windshields.

This year, be sure to stock up on your vinegar before the ice storms begin. To keep the ice from forming on your windshield, mix one part vinegar to three parts water. Coat your windshield with this solution to stop ice from forming overnight.

I definitely will try that one this winter. If it works I will keep a bottle in the trunk.

It’s amazing how many uses vinegar has! We use it as a cleaning agent all the time, but it’s great to hear it can be used this way as well. Thanks for yet another useful tip!
